NZ Hothouse is a proud long-standing sponsor for the Prostate Cancer Foundation. This Blue September, we raised $4,400.00 through selling our Lycoplus bags. We choose this variety as these tomatoes naturally have four times more lycopene than a standard tomato. High consumption of lycopene is widely known to help prevent certain cancers, specifically prostate cancer.

This money will go towards researching this disease to find preventatives and cures, supporting kiwi men and their families with prostate cancer, and educating men to get checked. Thanks to everyone who brought a pack, together we were able to donate this money.
