Spaghetti with Prawns, Cherry Tomatoes & Rocket
Savor a zesty spaghetti dish bursting with succulent prawns, juicy cherry tomatoes, and peppery rocket for a fresh and flavorful seafood delight.
  • 455g dried spaghetti

  • Sea salt

  • Freshly ground black pepper

  • Extra virgin olive oil

  • Two cloves garlic, peeled and finely chopped

  • One-two dried red chillies crumbled

  • 400g peeled raw prawns

  • One small wineglass of white wine

  • NZHH tomato sauce OR one jar of tomato pasta sauce

  • 250g cherry tomatoes, halved

  • Juice and zest of one lemon


Let's make a mouthwatering spaghetti dish! Start by cooking the spaghetti according to the packet instructions in a large saucepan of boiling water.

In a frying pan, heat up some olive oil and sauté garlic and chilli until the garlic starts to brown. Add in the prawns and toss them lightly for a couple of minutes. Then pour in some white wine and tomato pasta sauce.

Once the spaghetti is cooked, drain it and mix the sauce through the pasta. Add cherry tomatoes and half of the chopped rocket to the saucepan and combine everything together.

To finish it off, sprinkle some lemon rind and add some rocket leaves on top. Serve with a wedge of lemon on the side for an extra zesty kick. Enjoy your delicious homemade meal!
